The valve shall be kept in a dry and ventilated room, placed neatly, and the valve stem shall not be strained.b. During the period of storage, the valve shall be in the closed state, and both ends of the flange shall be closed.c. During the valve's storage, stem threads and machined surfaces should be coated with rust prevention agents that can be easily removed.d. Long-term stored valves should be checked regularly, dirt should be removed, and anti-rust agents should be applied.4.2 Installationa. The valve can be installed in any position, but attention must be paid to maintenance and easy operation.b. Before installation, it is necessary to carefully check whether the valve mark and nameplate are consistent with the working condition requirements.c. Install the valve should clean the inner cavity and sealing surface, check the sealing surface, bolt connection, packing compaction,Whether the stem rotates freely, etc.d. Handwheels and transmission mechanisms are not allowed to be used for lifting.e. When installing, tighten the connection bolts evenly and symmetrically.f. After installation, the valve must be fully opened for pipeline purging and system pressure test.4.3 Usagea. The operating condition of the valve must be consistent with the nameplate and the operating instruction manual.b. When the valve is used, it can only be fully opened or fully closed to prevent it from being used for regulating flow and damaging the sealing surface.c. When opening the valve, the apex of the valve stem is used as a fully open sign, that is, the position of the immobile opening is used as its fully open position. In order to consider the temperature change, the lockhole phenomenon occurs, usually at the apex position, and then back 1/2~1 turn as the position of the fully open valve.d. When the valve is working, the trapezoidal thread and valve stem nut should be lubricated regularly.e. The valve relies on rotating handwheel to open and close the gate, and no other auxiliary levers or power can be used.4.4 Check1. The following items should be regularly checked during the use of the valve, and problems should be repaired in time.a. Whether fasteners are uniform and strong.b. Whether the packing is severely worn, whether the gasket is damaged (shutdown maintenance).c. Whether the drive is light and flexible.d. Whether stem threads and stem nuts are severely worn or deformed.e. Whether the sealing surface is damaged or severely worn (shutdown maintenance).f. Whether there is leakage at the connection between the valve seat and the valve body (shutdown maintenance).g. Whether the shell is seriously corroded or worn, resulting in a significant thinning of the shell, or even leakage, if these phenomena occur, should be scrapped (parking maintenance).2.
