Storage, installation, use, inspection
 Storage
a. The valve shall be kept in a dry and ventilated room, placed neatly, and the valve stem shall not be strained.
b. During the storage of the valve, the ball is fully open and both ends of the flange should be closed.
c. During the storage period of the valve, the stem and machined surface should be coated with anti-rust agent that can be easily removed.
d. Long-term storage valve should be regularly checked, remove dirt, apply anti-rust agent.
Install
a. The valve can be installed in any position, but attention must be paid to maintenance and easy operation.
b. Before installation, it is necessary to carefully check whether the valve mark and nameplate are consistent with the working condition requirements.
c. When installing the valve, clean the inner cavity and sealing surface, and check whether the sealing surface, bolt connection, packing compression and valve stem rotation are free.
d. The handle and transmission mechanism are not allowed to be used for lifting.
e. Tighten the bolts evenly and symmetrically during installation.
f. After installation, the valve must be fully opened for pipeline purging and system pressure test.
Use
a. The operating condition of the valve must be consistent with the nameplate and the operating instruction manual.
b. When the valve is used, it can be allowed to slightly adjust the flow rate.
c. When opening the valve, the stop point of the positioning block is used as a fully open sign, that is, the position of the immovable is used as its fully open or fully open position.
d. The valve by rotating the handle to make the ball open and close, do not rely on other auxiliary levers or power.
Inspect
1. The following items should be regularly checked during the use of the valve, and problems should be repaired in time.
a) Whether the fasteners are uniform and strong.
b) Whether the packing is seriously worn and whether the gasket is damaged (shutdown maintenance).
c) Whether the drive is light and flexible.
d) Whether the valve stem is severely worn or deformed.
e) Whether the sealing surface is damaged or severely worn (shutdown maintenance).
f) Whether there is leakage at the connection between the valve seat and the valve body (shutdown maintenance).
g) Whether the shell is seriously corroded or worn, resulting in significant thinning of the shell or even leakage, if these phenomena occur, it should be scrapped (stop for maintenance).
2. After the valve repair and assembly, the pressure test must be carried out according to the corresponding standard, and the situation should be recorded after each repair for inspection.
